Here comes total darkness brought forth by the band from Zaporozhye, namely XUL. This young band can be one of the leaders in Ukrainian Black Metal in the future. Their debut album "ÇËÎ" was very strong and can blow off many so-called Black Metal kings even from aboard. So read the interview with my friend Obscurian and drown in the abyss of the most fearful evil. For it comes for you!
First of all, tell the history of your band.
- The band was formed in Winter 1998. The line-up is Obscurian, Innominandus and Ñëèïü. In August-September 1999 we recorded our first album, namely "ÇËÎ", in Beat Studio, Kharkiv.
Explain the music style of your band.
- BLACK METAL!!!!!!
Your opinion about Black Metal in Ukraine. How do you think what bands are deserve to be known?
- Ukraine has a good bands in general. But some bands (I don't want to name them here) are deserve to be forgotten. As for me the best bands are NOKTURNAL MORTUM, LUCIFUGUM, RUNES OF DIANCEHT. All these people are more deeply understand Black metal than different fuckin' screamers who cry all over the world about "true" and "false".
Nowadays many brainfucked assholes who call themselves "true Black Metal" tell many shit about such GODZ as VENOM, CELTIC FROST, BATHORY, MERCYFUL FATE, etc. though they never even heard this music. What do you think about such idiots?
- I part Black Metal Ones in 3 categories: The ones who grew up on VENOM, CELTIC FROST, etc.; The ones who rise due to Black Metal of early 90's - MAYHEM, DARK THRONE, IMPALED NAZARENE, BEHERIT, etc. The majority of these people (I mean two parts) are deserve to be hailed. They are the ones who understand what they want from themselves and from music. But!!!!! Nowadays many 13-14 years old bastards appeared, who read about Norwegian criminals (I don't understand, why they do not hail Al Capone and the ones like him) and call themselves "true pagan black metal", creating different funny "black metal Mafias" (ha-ha-ha) and proclaiming a "war" to many great bands who even don't know about the existence of these assholes. These little boys-warriors grew up on such music as EMPEROR'97, SATYRICON'96 and adventures of teenager Count Grishnackh. I don't have anything against EMPEROR, SATYRICON or mr.Vikernes, I simply enrage when different young bastards perverse these great bands.

- War - killings, mass extermination of people, destruction, devastation, anguish, misery, the end of all the living. I hate people, I hate society that brought forth many fucking religions which desecrate intellect. I await the moment when the majority of this fake foul human society will be exterminated and the ones who will remain will be changed in those low creatures who are they really are.
Carpathians - vampires, werewolves, warlocks, hexes and ancient evil that sleeps in the depths of the mountains but someday will awake (now we can behold the beginning of this awakening). Carpathians is the diabolic place where many black roots dwell and feeded by the hideous powers of the Ancient Ones. IA! ZI DINGIR XUL KANPA!
I always love to see how judeo-christian marasm burns but I can't understand these idiots who proclaimed the war against christianity and "dedicated" their lives to it (as they say). I told about how I understand war, and this "war" proclaimed by Black Metal kids is the childish games of abnormal motherfuckers. They never fight christianity in such way. To Open the Gates is much better.
I never seen UFO but there are possibilities because the Universe is endless. May be they live far far from us. But I think that somewhere in Universe dwell They who have nothing with UFO. Those whose names can't be called are beholding the earth in blasphemous lust. The existence of Them is a pure blasphemy. Those, who dominated once and shall inherit...
Will some changes in music and lyrics take place in the future?
- Yes, our new material will be more sinister, more faster and more difficult. That's all I can say about it.
