As we see from your biography you started to play from 1991. As I know it was more difficult to play such music in these times than now. Have you any difficulties with your rehearsals and gigs in 1991?
- The band didn't have any problems with rehearsals and gigs because the band has its own rehearsal base. There were certainly difficulties then because all the new things are hard to be developed. The concerts were held but more seldom than now.
What things motivates your music?
- Our music comes from our inward emotions and fantasy. We try to put into the music something abstract and unordinary.
What is your lyrical conception? Tell us more about it. Explain us the meaning of your very original cover.
- It would take a lot of time and room to expound all the conception. But we can try to do that shortly. Person's hard life makes him to be abstracted from the real world. He gets interested in other worlds. He manages to penetrate the supreme intellect. After that he goes crazy because of surplus of information coming from above. In his desperation he loses his eyes. In the end it all comes out to be a vision (phantasmagoria). The meaning of the cover is concealed in the darkness of that album.
After the death of your guitarist and ideologist V. Kizilov there was a period of depression for you and your band even stoped its existence. What were the reasons that resurrected your band?
- During so called stop of existence (which in reality we didn't survive) Vorobyov and Pogrebnoy were looking for adequate musicians.
Do you have something with occultism and satanism? (I saw inverted cross on your vocalist on inlay)
- Yes we do, but we leave this question without commentaries.
What's your opinion about the second coming of Heavy Metal and Thrash Metal of 80's? (Bands that were disappeared for long time make their new releases and also new bands playing the music of 80's appeared. For example: INFERNÖ, GEHENNAH, HAMMERFALL, GUILLOTINE, etc.)
- We take this positively because they bring nostalgy for former times. And nobody can predict what can happen even in a month. And any band has right to exist.
With what bands you make gigs and what is the atmosphere on your gigs?
- We don't have our personal gigs but play together with local bands. For example IGNIS NOCTURNUM, etc. Atmosphere on the gigs can't be bad because there are lots of heavy music fans in our region.
Do you believe in other civilisations dwelling in the unlimited cosmic seas of Universe? And how do you think had these civilisations, if they exist, ever visited the Earth?
- Yes, we believe. They used to come to change gold for chocolates.
When we can expect your new material and in what way it will be? (Nowadays many bands like to change their music. Make it less heavy more melodic, change the vocal style. For example: AMORPHIS, MOONSPELL, THEATRE OF TRAGEDY, etc.)
- We are planning to release a new album in the fall of this year. Concerning the style we can say it has been changed about the heavyness let the listeners voice their opinion.
